The setting is exceptional, situated right along the Kilkee cliffs, with breathtaking views of the sea on the opening holes.
It offers very reasonable prices and has a super friendly staff. The beer and food are good with priceless views.
The Pollock Holes are beautiful to to walk around and have a swim in all three. The water is cold but so refreshing. There is something so calming about these holes.
The holes offer a beautiful and colorful acquatic environment beneath the water, especially seen when snorkeling during low tide.
Located just past Kilkee beach, the water is refreshed with each incoming tide making the holes a cool clean immersion.
The Kilkee Cliff Walk takes you along the edge of cliffs that are every bit as dramatic and beautiful as the Cliffs of Moher.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and definitely bring your camera as you will want to take many photos of this amazing scenery along the walkway.
If bringing young children, be sure to supervise and watch them closely as there are no walls between the walkway and the cliffs’ edge.
The Bridges of Ross is located on the Loop Head Peninsula, about a 20-minute drive from Kilkee to the south along the coast.
The Bridges of Ross were three natural sea arches until two of them dropped into the sea in the 19th century. Only one bridge survives now but it (the area) is still called the “Bridges” (not Bridge) of Ross.
This has to be one of the most unique places to visit in County Clare with its beautiful rock formations. It has easily accessible car parking and the bridge is easy to access. Definitely a must see.
Kilkee Bay offers many different watersports for you to enjoy. Stop by Nevsail Watersports & Adventures in Kilkee which offers many watersports from which to choose.
